I'm so Excited!!!

I'm so excited to have the shop open again. We've been closed January through March. It's been a busy couple of weeks painting, redecorating and stocking the shop. Yesterday was the first day of the re-opening and it turned out to be a busy day even though it was cold, windy and snowing up here on the mountain. Here are a few pictures of the shop.

IT"S ALMOST HERE!!!

I'ts almost here...only 31 more days till the reopening. The Crows Nest has been close for the winter months January through March and will reopen on April 1st. I've been super busy designing and creating new items for the shop. Here's a SNEEK PEAK of some of the new Spring items. Lot's of bunnies, wreaths, arrangements, decorative boxes and even a sheep.

CLEANING DAY!!!

Time to clean the Hen House...home to 9 Hens, 3 Roosters and 9 Ducks.

Hubby brought home a truck full of straw. Plain Jane, Fancy Nancy and some of the other girls were so excited they jumped right up into the truck to lend a hand. lol

IT"S BEEN AWHILE!!!

It's been awhile since I've posted anything on my blog, but before I tell you what I've been up to... I want to give a big THANK YOU!!! to all of you who supported Shair's Crows Nest in 2010. It was an awesome year and I look forward to what 2011 will bring.

The Crows Nest will be closed January through March and will reopen on April 1, 2011.

I've been busy reorganizing, buying supplies, working on new designs for Spring, starting a line of Natural Goats Milk lotions, creams and body scrubs, making plans on how to decorating the Crows Nest for the reopening and making decisions on what new products to add to the shop.  Here are just a few...

I had alot of requests for Shabby Chic items last year so I decided to add a Shabby Chic Corner  to the shop...there will be lots of florals, wreaths, arrangements, swags, handpainted signs, pillows and home decor items.

WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!

I am so exhausted!!! I've had a busy week making crafts, stocking and decorating the shop for the Holiday Open House. Today was the first day of the Open House... welcomed alot of new customers... enjoyed seeing my regular ones...ate alot of cookies and drank lots of cider... it was SUCH A GREAT DAY and SO MUCH FUN!!!  I know Saturday and Sunday are going to be even better.

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Getting ready for the Crows Nest's Open House. I've been stocking, decorating and getting the store ready. This week I'll be busy making Holiday Lighted Wreaths, Garlands and Arrangements. Will be featuring the  "SnowPeople"...one of a kind handcrafted lifesized SnowMen and SnowWomen and the cutest SnowKids dressed in Steeler , Cowboy, and Holiday Outfits. You'll find Country Crafts and Primitive Home Decor items through out the shop.  There will be lots of Unique Stocking Stuffers, Christmas items, Home Baked All Natural Dog Treats and Handmade Room Sprays. The Crow's Nest also features Handcrafted Items from local Artists. There will be Door Prizes and Refreshments. November 12, 13, and 14... from 10am-5pm
